Using Signing Groups for flexible signing

Signing Groups allow you to request a signature from a predefined group of recipients. Any one member of the group can sign the document on behalf of the group.

Setting up a Signing Group

Note: To create a Signing Group, you must have the "Manage Users & Roles" permission.


Navigate to the Settings section of the application, then click on "Signing Groups".


Click "Create Signing Group"


Enter a name for the group, optionally add a description, and select the group members. Then click Create.

Members can belong to more than one Signing Group.



Sending to a Signing Group

Note: You do not need the "Manage Users & Roles" permission to send a document to a Signing Group.


Through the Request Signature wizard

In the signature request flow, toggle on "Signing Groups".


Select a group from the dropdown.


Through a workflow

Toggle on "Signing Groups" in the workflow setup.


Choose a group from the dropdown list.
