Generating documents

Inkit lets you generate custom documents from templates, which you can save either in our secure cloud storage or in your own datastore. You can generate documents in Inkit in the following ways:

• Using the web app
• Using the API
• Using Salesforce flows and Salesforce Apex triggers

The documents you generate, by default, exist forever if you generate them in our secure cloud storage. But for security purposes you can set them to expire after a specific amount of views or a certain amount of time.

When generating multiple documents through the API, you should do this in batches, as it will improve performance.

After you generate documents, you can display them to your users.
